Erasmus+ Exchange in Enkhuizen – Day 4: Reflection, Celebration and Farewell

RSG Enkhuizen

The final day of our Erasmus+ Water & Shakes exchange was all about looking back, reflecting and celebrating everything we had learned and experienced together.

Carousel of Questions

The morning began with a reflection carousel: eight stations with questions designed to help pupils think deeply about their exchange experience. After moving through all the stations, each team “owned” one question and presented their answers back to the full group.

In front of our head of school, Mr. Kramer, pupils shared their thoughts on water, sustainability, culture, and—perhaps most importantly—what they had learned about themselves and each other.

A Film of Memories

A film capturing moments from the week brought plenty of laughter and giggles as pupils saw themselves in action. Yet it also reminded everyone of just how much they had achieved—in terms of personal growth, teamwork, and active citizenship.

Certificates, Celebrations and Friendships

A certificate ceremony marked the pupils’ achievements before the group enjoyed an afternoon of fun with go-carting and bowling. These final activities were the perfect way to round off the exchange—celebrating the friendships that had grown stronger each day.

As the time came to say goodbye, there were tears and hugs and the Italian “ciao” carried extra weight. This was not an arrivederci (goodbye), but rather a “see you soon”—because in April, we travel to Italy to continue our Erasmus+ journey together!
