Respect day 2

RSG Enkhuizen

An early start and off we headed to Mar Meñor for our day away from Caravaca to learn about the ecological situation of this micro-climate that is seriously in danger. It was very clear for our pupils how this area has been destroyed over time due to the overuse of pesticides in the agriculture in the area. The seahorse population has been reduced to 1% of its stock in this special nature reserve and the pesticides are stimulating the extensive growth of algae, suffocating the fishstock as they both fight for oxygen.

Throughout the day, the pupils continued to bond and get to know one another and to get their questions down on paper for creating their final product in the next two days: a ‘RESPECT’ Trivial Pursuit game.
