RSG Enkhuizen on the English map!

With almost 150 diplomas to hand out to the RSG Enkhuizen’s international department’s pupils on Monday night, Enkhuizen definitely now features on the map as THE place to study English with three levels of Cambridge English being taught, international courses in Global Perspectives and a vocational course all in English!

Our BTEC pupils were up first from the mavo DLE department, they received their Award and a travel bag to mark the achievement of passing their level II award in Travel & Tourism.

Following on their heels were the IGCSE pupils who were the first cohort to be taking Global Perspectives, completing their research for their Dutch PWS in English and having this assessed by the University of Cambridge. One of the cohort scored straight As across her papers, finishing in the top 15% worldwide.

Their mortarboards with blue tassels made way for the red tassels of the A-level pupils in Atheneum, who similarly completed their research pieces in English and had their work marked by two examiners at Cambridge. These pupils also had to appear on stage twice to pick up their Cambridge English diplomas too.

Those were the mortarboards with their yellow tassels, which numbered 85 in total, coming from the mavo, havo and vwo departments and scaling the three levels of examinations: First, Advanced and Proficiency.

The pupils rounded off the graduation in style with the traditional hat throw and an enjoyable glass of non-alcoholic bubbly to celebrate their success!

Well done to all our graduates! Enjoy the photographs in our gallery, taken by Evie Stroomer.
